Punjab National Bank establishes Goods and Services

HYDERABAD:
Public sector bank Punjab National Bank (PNB) has set up
an expert team of Chartered Accountants (CAs) to educate
general public on Goods and Services Tax (GST), which
came into force from July 1 onwards. PNB has requested
its customers and general public to make use of this
service to clear their doubts on GST and start filing
returns. The expert team sits at PNB branch in
Lakdi-ka-pul in the city.

Manager, PNB, said: “We’re one of the four banks
approved by the Government of India for collecting and
depositing cash pertaining to GST. PNB's expert team
will clear all types of doubts about GST. The bank’s IT
team will also help customers resolve any issues
regarding GST payment and net banking issues.”
PNB has launched ‘Monsoon
Bonanza’ for offering housing loans and car loans at
lower interest rate. Rajeev Puri, circle head and DGM (Telangana
circle), said: “General public can take appointment by
calling (99586 83337) and get all your doubts cleared on
GST.”
